ASC Event Services, based in Houston, Texas, is owned by Therese Cole-Hubbs. Theresa began the company in 1999 but was catering and planning special events and weddings for years.
When she began her ASC Event Services, her intent was clear – design and produce creative, affordable and delicious events and catering menus for a wide range of clients. She sets the bar high for all her events, bringing to them world-class quality, service and style and infusing them with your personality and objectives.
In 2010, Therese started a sister company, Electric Karma, in order to plan, produce and cater the growing number of Indian and multi-cultural weddings in Houston. She is sought after within her own industry as the nation’s leading expert in multi-cultural weddings and brings her knowledge to several industry association. Therese is on the Board of Directors of the Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA) and is a member of The International Caterers Association. In 2011 she was nominated for Event Planner of the Year by Event Solutions magazine, a national publication. Locally she is Director of Events at the Arabia Shrine Center in Houston.
